Knowledge Popularization of CNC Cutting and Polishing Machines

The CNC cutting and polishing machine is also known as a boring rolling machine, a honing machine, deep hole honing, and oil cylinder honing machine, etc. It uses a rolling and composite processing technology that can complete the boring and rolling function in one reciprocating motion. The processing accuracy can reach IT8 level, and the surface roughness can reach Ra005-0.2μm. It is mainly used for the precision machining of hydraulic cylinder inner holes. Compared to traditional honing machines, this equipment has advantages of low noise and no pollution, and can greatly save labor costs with high processing efficiency.

The CNC cutting and polishing machine can flatten uneven parts and extrude excess material into the gaps by rolling and rotating the workpiece surface. Therefore, plastic deformation can occur. The leveling effect is achieved through the flow of material near the entire surface, and the processing speed is determined by the required material and surface specifications.

Depending on the length of the workpiece, the product selects two types of processing workpieces: short workpieces are lubricated by oil, and the hydraulic system is tightened, while long workpieces are guided by the tail of the boring bar and clamped by a four-jaw chuck. An innovative spindle structure is used in the oil supply device, greatly improving the performance of the bearings and enhancing the rotational accuracy. The bed guide rails use double rectangular guide rails suitable for deep hole processing machines, which have a large load capacity and high guiding accuracy. It is suitable for industries such as machine tool manufacturing, locomotives, ships, coal mining machinery, hydraulics, power machinery, and pneumatic machinery for boring and rolling processing, achieving a workpiece roughness of 0.4 to 0.8μm.
