With its own advantages, honing has become an irreplaceable cutting process, widely used in the processing of various products. Moreover, after years of effort, China's honing technology has developed rapidly, breaking the long-standing monopoly held by foreign enterprises.
The most advanced honing technology not only realizes intelligent operation but also has made great progress in efficiency and environmental protection. The honing process itself is very complex, and various factors of the equipment can affect the machining accuracy of the parts. Only through repeated experiments and parameter adjustments in practice can reliable honing accuracy be achieved. To simplify this process, a dedicated control system has been adopted. Due to its program assistant function, relevant parameters can be automatically calculated by simply inputting a small amount of workpiece material and tool data.
In terms of CNC sequential honing machines, they can process with a set of diamond reamers of different diameters in order of size, with each diameter tool performing a single reciprocating cutting action. After all tools have completed their processing, the final part size requirements are met. This proves that sequential honing can achieve higher production efficiency and better geometric accuracy, and it is very easy to maintain the consistency of part dimensions.
